You can view your child's precise daily schedule on Smartschool (Smartschool - Planner).
A general classification looks like this:
Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students stay at school for lunch.
Students in their 4th, 5th, and 6th grades have the option of eating at home, with parental permission. They are also welcome to stay at school for lunch.
The law will change on September 1, 2025. Students throughout Flanders will no longer be allowed to use their mobile phones or smart devices during the school day.
What does this mean for our school?
The mobile phone ban applies to all pupils , including those in the third grade.
New school agreements from September 2025
When you arrive at school, you must turn off your cell phone and put it in your school bag.
If you use your mobile phone or take it out of your school bag, the teacher will confiscate your mobile phone .
You will only get your mobile phone back at the end of the school day at reception or from the principal.
If this happens again, you will have a discussion with the management and your parents.
Exception
You may only use your mobile phone during class, and only if the teacher requests it for an assignment. Outside of class, use remains prohibited , including:
on the playground
in the corridors
in the refectory (poly)
in the flex space
Responsibility
You remain responsible for your mobile phone.
Since its use is not allowed anyway, it is best not to bring a cell phone to school .
If your mobile phone is confiscated, the school is not responsible for damage or loss .
Agreements about clothing and headgear at school
Our school wants all students to be treated equally , regardless of their gender, religion, or political views. Therefore:
No one is allowed to wear headgear at school during lessons or activities related to lessons. This applies to all types of headgear , such as caps, hats, headscarves, etc.
This rule also applies when going to and from the sports hall for physical education lessons.
What do we expect from your clothing?
Your clothing should be appropriate for the school . What you wear at school is different from casual wear. Therefore, the following rules apply:
No tops that show your belly
No clothes with a neckline that is too deep
No flip-flops or sandals without a strap on the heel
No beachwear
No sweatpants
At the beginning of the school year, we invite you to an information session about Smartschool. A concise guide can be found here:
